Personally, my failure is that I tend to give up too quickly. I sometimes lose interest if I don't have immediate success. Just have to remember that life is a marathon, not a sprint.

Is it fear or is it the fact that the complications are more than you feel you can handle. When you start to think about it the intimidation factor comes into play. It's a tough place to be in.

I agree with the comparisson and somehow likeness of Fear and Frustration as to blocking us to reach our full potential and success.

We fear the unknown and we get frustrated when we are not able to do things we wanted. I know the feeling.

I've come to realize that I am really not afraid of much at all. It's not fear that stops me in my tracks. It's more like the sheer frustration of constantly breaking through all the brick walls that block my way.

I figure for my own self esteem, it would help to blog about it.

Very good post and interesting comparison between fear and frustration. Perhaps it is the frustration that makes some people quit rather than their fear. I guess I need to think about this further.

Personally, I love a challenge and so when something does not work out the first or second time, then I am even more motivated to find a solution. The "failure is not an option" idea immediately pops up to fight the frustration I may feel. It may take me awhile, but if I truly care for something or someone I usually do not give in to the frustration.

I have nothing to lose by continuing the fight. There is no failure just "10,000 ways that don't work." Edison I chose to see failure and success this way so frustration diminishes.

Don, very good points. Using adsense or not is a personal choice for a blogger, and what choice they decide to make really only impacts them.

For my site, I don't use Adsense because I want to control what's on there. But that doesn't give me a license to criticize other people for making their own decision.

I also dislike "experts" who scorn beginners. That seems to me that they are trying really hard to prove that they're important.

A real professional or expert is someone who can be gracious and help people reach the next level through positive means.
